Chicago HHH #1673 – Saturday 7/24 – 2:00 PM, 3rd Annual Taste of Lincoln Avenue Hash @ Party Central Classic (NOT the SkyDeck!)

• This year I’m taking the Hash right to the front door of one of Chicago’s most spectacular Summer Street Festivals – the 27th Annual Taste of Lincoln Avenue which is literally around the corner from my old condo on Fullerton, where I used to have parties before the SkyDeck.
• $8 hash cash will include at least a keg’s worth of beer and BBQ after the run for the on-in and after that those interested are welcome to join us at the fest later on. I believe admission to the fest is $7 before 3pm (get a hand stamp for later) and $10 after. • We’ll be there most of the afternoon after the run so you may wish to bring a folding lawn chair to sit on as the people watching will be exceptional due to us being between the L and the fest!

• From the Lincoln Park/Lakeview “Green Zone”: Red/Brown Line to Fullerton, walk 50 yards East from the L to 916. You can also take the Halsted 8 to Fullerton or Lincoln 11 or Fullerton 74 East to the L station and walk from there.
• From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Blue Line to California, hoof it a couplea blocks North to Fullerton and Fullerton 74 bus East to the L station and walk from there

Driving

• Hop into your hooptie and cruise to Fullerton and Sheffield. Parking is really gonna suck because of the fest but you can either feed the meters on Fullerotn or shoot for some on street spaces around Jonquil Park at Wrightwood or up Racine to the West. All other side street are Zone 143 resident permit after 6pm which is a $60 ticket!
