From da GM: Summer is officially over, so we're switching back to Sundays. Calvin and Batteries are our hares, so the trail will likely be long and shitty. We'll be running out of Cork & Kerry at the Park, which is down on the South Side, so be sure to - wait, South Side? Awe, crap, now I don't know all the streets and won't be able to shortcut everything. Oh yeah, the streets down there are numbered, nevermind.
From da Hares: This will be an A-B trail, but don't worry as the B will be walking distance from the A. You're advised to prepare your livers, as this will be the return of Yucca yucca yucca motherfuckers.

From da GM: Three hares who are all turning thirty-something. Huh. I wonder if they'll do a trail with only three-way splits that makes a 3 on a map. Wait, Wang Chunks and Ass 2 Mouth did that last week at TH3

From da GM: This is it, ladies and gentlemen - the final Chicago Hash on Monday in 2011. Last chance for a "Drunkover Tuesday," so let's close this one out in style. Mt. Schwiiinga has put together a fund-raising hash for PAWS, so be sure to bring some extra cash with you so that other dogs and cats don't go without a loving home.
From da Hare: As some of you already know, I'm running my FIRST marathon in Chicago on October 9th, and I'm doing it on behalf of PAWS (the organization where I adopted Artie from).
So, I'm doing a special, dog-friendly hash to help with my fund-raising efforts and I hope you'll join me. The bar is really awesome and they've agreed that for every pitcher we buy, $2 will go to PAWS, so even more reason to drink up! (Not that we need any). And here's another one: I'm bar tending! (So please be prepared to tip generously)
Plus, I'll be selling a hash-centered marathon T-Shirt for anybody that's interested. If you'd like to buy one, please log in to my fund-raising page and donate at least $20, then let me know your name and size!
On-On, and thanks for the support!

From da GM: Tired of the North Side yet? Too bad! We're back off the Red Line again this week, this time we're venturing a bit further South so that we can see the beauty that is Uptown. Did I say beauty? Meant to say ghetto.
Environmentally-Friendly Public Transit

From da GM: Labor Day? Already? Where the hell did the Summer go? Oh well, at least we've got one more big blow-out party planned for you - why else would you need three hares for a trail? Nevermind that two of them have never set trail before and that they're being taught by the biggest free-ranging bastard in existence. Nope, this one is going to be a good one.

As an added bonus, we'll have Anthrax hoodies for sale for the low price of $20 (image at right). These are not included in your rego, as we decided to give away bags but then found out there was a huge demand for another, more traditional, give away. There may be other shirts, and the new patches and keychains may be in by then as well, so bring your wallets and stock up on Haberdashery - they make great stocking stuffers for your Hash Mistress.
