From da GM: Time to work off that hangover you got by drinking too much at Hash Ball. In a show of solidarity, the Old and New GMs of the Chicago Hash will be joining together to lay trail once again. As of right now we know that Snatchsquatch will be one of the hares, who will be the other? Better vote before Feb 19th and have at least some input on the whole thing.
Environmentally-Friendly Public Transit 
From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Hop on the Red Line and take that sucker North to Berwyn. Walk downstairs and make a right - if you can't see the bar within the first two minutes of exiting the station you're either blind or you turned left instead of right.
From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Hop on the 72 North Ave Bus headed East. Ride that bus until you get to the North/Clyborn Red Line station. Transfer downstairs and jump on the Red Line and take that sucker North to Berwyn. Walk downstairs and make a right - if you can't see the bar within the first two minutes of exiting the station you're either blind or you turned left instead of right.
Driving 
Hop in your hooptie and cruise to Foster and Winthrop. There should be parking, but you may have to circle the block a few times to find it.

From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Hop on the Red Line and head into the Loop. Exit at Jackson and head upstairs. Transfer onto the 6 Jackson Park Express. Ride that sucker down to 55th St. Hop off the bus and head East a block and a half over to The Cove. Bar is on the North side of the street.
From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Hop on the Blue Line and head into the Loop. Exit at Jackson and head upstairs. Walk a block East to State St and transfer onto the 6 Jackson Park Express. Ride that sucker down to 55th St. Hop off the bus and head East a block and a half over to The Cove. Bar is on the North side of the street.
Via Metra Train: Take the Metra Electric District Line to 56th St. Head East along 56th St to Hyde Park Blvd. Walk a block North along Hyde Park Blvd to 55th St. Go another block and a half East on 55th to The Cove. Bar is on the North side of the street.
Driving 
Hop in your hooptie and cruise to 55th and Hyde Park Blvd. Marvel at how there's actually less parking that you expected on the South Side.

From Lincoln Park/Lakeview: Hop on the Red Line and take that sucker North to Wilson. Walk downstairs past several homeless people urinating to transfer onto the 78 Montrose Bus. Ride that sucker until you get to Montrose & Elston. After exiting the bus walk a block up Elston to the bar, which is on the Northwester corner.
From Wicker Park/Bucktown: Hop on the Blue Line and go towards O'Hare. At Montross transfer from the train to the 78 Montrose Bus heading East. Ride that sucker to Keeler, exit the bus, and take Keeler North up to Elston. Bar will be on the corner of Keeler and Elston.
Driving 
Hop in your hooptie and cruise to Elston and Keeler - there's plenty of parking out here, so you shouldn't have to worry about that.

From da Hares: The annual "Snow Hash" returns! Since we haven't seen much of that white powdery stuff yet this year we'll dub this one the "Snow (not fucking likely) Hash!" We will have good beer and food (Italian Beef Sandwiches). There are 2 NFL playoff games that day but since the Bears are out of the playoffs you have no excuse not to show. This is also the Hashiversary of WJew40, so there's extra incentive to come and give him extra down-downs.

Hop off the bus at University and walk South - you'll cut through a schoolyard as University disappears for a block, but you'll pick it up again at 65th. Keep going another half block and Casa de Stab 'em will be on your right as you're heading South.

Via Magical, Mystical, Metra Train: There is a Metra Electric train that leaves Millennium Station (underground at Michigan & Randolph) a...t 1:00 PM. You need to:
1. Buy a ticket ($2.50) before you board.
2. Tell the conductor you want to get off at 63rd St. (otherwise the train may not stop there).
3. Get off at 63rd and use the exit at the south end of the platform (65th St.?) zig zag your way south and west to the venue.
You will be early.
