Here are the details for this year's Hash Ball:
Who: CH3, et al
What: Come out and enjoy food and drink with your fellow hashers as we welcome a new GM. Dress as your favorite TV star or dress to impress. We've got a $35 package that includes ALL draft beer, well liquor, wine, soda AND some select bottomless apps.
When: February 26, 7-1o p.m.
Where: Kirkwood Bar & Grill (2934 N. Sheffield - corner of Sheffield & Oakdale)
Why: Just any old excuse to get together without having to worry about some pesky trail.
How to pay: Either in person (at a hash or at the door) or by paypal. Add $2 for paypal fees.
How (to get there)
CTA - Brown Line to Wellington, walk west to Sheffield then down a block or so or Red Line to Belmont and walk West to Sheffield and three blocks South to Oakdale. The bar is on the west side of the street at the corner of Sheffield & Oakdale. You can also take the Diversey 76 bus East to Sheffield and walk three blocks North to Oakdale.
Driving - I don't recommend it because a) you'll be drinking and b) it's Lincoln Park on Saturday night.

Event: The 9th Great Chicago Anthrax Scare & Santa Hat RunFrom the organizers: Includes a Hazmat suit, souvenir nametag and a commemorative event T-shirt (if you registered by 12/11). Of course there will be an especially S-H-I-T-T-Y trail, followed by circle, great food catered by Robinson's Ribs, tons of beer, a DJ, dancing, partying.

From the hares: This year we are adding a real hash trail to the traditional pub crawl. The run/crawl will be A to B
- Runners will be rewarded with at least 2 beer stops. We will join up with our pub-crawling friends at the final pub. Your bags will be transported to the finish.
- For those who prefer to crawl between pubs, directions to the next pub will be provided once the runners have departed.
- We will be on-out at 7:30, but we have negotiated $3 domestic drafts at McGee's starting at 6:00 PM, so feel free to show up early.
- Remember to carry your photo ID with you on trail!

Driving
Hop into your hooptie and cruise to the intersection of Sheffield and Webster. Look for whatever parking you can find tho not much is good around there. Side streets are Zone 143 Permit after 6pm. If you wish to drive you are in luck Kelly's has parking next to the building under the el. Best way to access this is to use Sheffield if going north turn right in the alley right before you see Webster. Make a left under the EL and park your car. If you are cumming from the North Cross Webster and make an immediate left into the alley and park under the el on the left side. CARS MUST BE MOVED by MIDNIGHT!!!

Event: The 1700th Run of the Chicago Hash House Harriers!
From the hares: Our theme will be "Lumberjacks"
Dust off that old Canadian accent, eh, because our visiting hare from British Columbia has called for a Lumberjack theme (as in Monty Python), so pull out your best flannel, your oldest CH3 hash attire and celebrate R*n 1700 at the Anthrax Hangover Hash.
We will be r*nning out of Manhattan's at 415 S. Dearborn. The bar is near CTA Blue, Red and Loop Trains, as well as approximately a 15 minute walk to Union Station for people heading home on Amtrak/MegaBus.
There will be a Walkers Trail and a "Lifa Trail" set specifically for Lifa and anyone else crazy enough to r*n it. Visitors on the Walkers Trail can expect to see around 6 Chicago sights and Lifa Trail will hit around 10, so take your camera if you're not a local.
There will be a beer/shot stop on trail and there will also be an additional/optional beer and wine stop; bring cash and ID on trail if you'd like some extra booze.
Commemorative event tags for the first 20 people to pay hash cash.

CH3 MM Meeting 7/21- 7pm @ Lion Head
Hey ya wanks,
It's been a while since we've had a MisManagement meeting, so I figure tomorrow is as good a time as any to have one.
The meeting will be at Lion Head Pub (2251 N. Lincoln) at 7pm on July 21.
Here are a few things I have in mind for the agenda so far:
- State of Hash Funds
- Habadashery
- I still have Anthrax shirts for some reason. If you or someone you know HAS NOT picked theirs up, I'll be selling it.
- We bought extra PoP mugs in honor of the 10th anniversary. The left over ones will be sold for $5 each.
- CH3 and TH3 teamed up to create a new moisture wicking shirt. These are currently on sale for $18.
- Open dates for upcoming hashes.
- We need a back up RA.
This is all I have so far as no one has brought any other issues to my attention. If you have anything you'd like me to consider discussing shoot me an email and we'll figure something out.
Note our usual drinking practice specials - free food buffet 4-7pm, $2 domestic bottles and $2.75 beer of the month will be available also.

And as you may have heard, our good friend Odor Eater will soon be leaving us for the tropical paradise of Kansas City. If you've ever been to one of our big hash events in Chicago (Anthrax, PoP, etc.), then you know Odor Eater as the friendly DJ cranking out that great dance music.
Odor Eater will be at the Chicago Hash run on 4/25, so please come out to bid him farewell, kiss his ass goodbye, or just to praise/deride him for being the huge Cubs fan that he is.
